We have a new map ingame, and it is titled mech_orb, after the Orb scene in Gundam SEED. This map was created by dudeman and the Scythe that you see ingame was implemented by Jason. DeathScythe also has a whole lot of great animations made by Shijing. Great work to all of them, but for now - here are five brand new screenshots:





There is still some minor tweaking left for the map, but besides that it is mostly complete. The mass driver in the map actually pushes the mechs away at high speeds, so watch out before you step on :0).
Our coder Jason has also implemented the pixel shading real time 'TRON 2' glow for MechMod (Half-Life Engine). The visual effects are just overwhelming, check out a screenshot by clicking here. More updates coming soon, keep watching our homepage and forums!
