Welcome to the May 2010 News Spring is in full swing and summer is just around the corner. Good times. It's also the time of year when exams start for most of the dev team. Bad times. This means the development has slowed down but will pick up again around June time so don't fret, we're not going to die on you, we just need to get through our exams and then hey ho, hey ho, it's off to SGL work we go.

Welcome to the May 2010 News

Spring is in full swing and summer is just around the corner. Good times. It's also the time of year when exams start for most of the dev team. Bad times. This means the development has slowed down but will pick up again around June time so don't fret, we're not going to die on you, we just need to get through our exams and then hey ho, hey ho, it's off to SGL work we go.

Also it's the United Kingdom's General Election, where we are voting for our new Prime Minister and something rare in UK Politics has happened literally over the past few hours, we have a Hung Parliament. Click the link to find out more, but it will be an interesting few weeks/months in UK politics as it all unfolds.

We have decided that the news should be kept for general SGL news and media and the Dev Blog will become a separate feature posted every so often. This is mainly due to time constraints of the dev team as we'd rather have them spend their free time making the mod but if they do have a spare few moments, write a dev blog.

So moving onto this month's media release, we have some new screenshots of the evolving Temple map. It's really taking shape now.

It's a nice piece of eye candy.

So that's all we have for this month. Hope you have a great May and enjoy the spring time.

Sexy. Looks pretty seamless there, and I like how you got them arches to look natural. You'd be surprised how often they don't.

Good job :) Still tracking yah.

Thanks for the comments :) Things are coming along well with the mod. Just so many things to do and so little time at the moment to do them.

except for the abrupt edges on the 'sand dunes' it looks great, the mapping is clean as well as placement. awesome

They're not sand dunes, if you look at the texture you can see they're a rocky substance.
