Current Project Status
Over the past couple of months, we have been very busy developing the next stage of the project -- Republic at War v1.2. This next release will include a number of additions and enhancements, some of which I've outlined below.
Republic at War v1.2 Features:
- New units and planets.
- New GC battlefield hazards and events.
- New planetary income and defense structures.
- New game launcher w/ one-touch game updating.
- Completely redesigned GC maps.
- Over 400 balance adjustments.
- Numerous AI improvements and fixed.
- GC performance improvements.
- Misc bug fixes.
We'll continue reveal new details on progress, beta testing, and a release time frame, as we near completion.

Well if u could change tha AI, to play smarter instead of swarming you every seconds in GC (no offense i like beating them again and again) i would be grateful. And there is that FOC bug, when u cant move your units if u have too many of them, is it fixable?
Do you mean the freeze? As in large GCs freeze and become unplayable?
It is not a freeze, simply i cant drag my units in galaxy view/move them in battle view.
Yeah iv'e had the same problem, if your army gets big enough it will not let you drag them anywhere, you have to sell all the units you cant move then rebuild them over a different planet D:
Its a engine bug I think there is a fix for it
I feel your pain with the swarming AI. Kinda why I stopped playing. Playing CIS and holding off 3 Republic fleets a galactic week/day of 2-7 venators 15+ acclamators and 10-20 of each frigate type plus all the fighters gets extremely annoying. I am not exaggerating, that is what happened to me. I can beat them off but it just takes 20+ min to do those battles, so thats an hour of battles like that in 1 galactic week/day. Not worth it Imo

Yes. Insane bonuses for AI kills the joy.
You don't believe? Take Bothawui and destroy near planets fleets. Do not occupy it. Remove fleet. Now observe magically created fleet on AI planet. That is happening on EVERY planet.
Even if you have Bothawui, you can't see whats on Geonoisis... it's probably just a fleet from Geonosis, Alzoc III, or the Vergesso asteroids.

Speaking of good feedback
I would really love to help you guys to find bugs(already have a list of a couple) however I'm unsure as to where to post them.
Can any of the developers give me a hint?
I totally agree with the 'smarter AI' part (tho i do like the swarming AI). The AI never even goes for secondary LZs; after the 6th time they could easily have taken the 2 secondary LZs on dathomir (had infantry on them, and armor assaulting my base - not much armor, with a 3 pop cap primary LZ) and did not, i stopped defending LZs; the AI is apparently OK with facing a defensive force of 4 units, barracks, and 2 light factories with pretty much nothing (1-3 units)
The only thing i'd like done is to have the mod installer install everything to the MODS folder instead of adding all of the maps and a few other files to the base FOC folder and show up in all of the mods i play.
the problem is that some files need to be in foc base directory
Anakin have you any idea when the 1.2 update comes out? i love the RAW mod most of all mods and i really wanna play the version =D

i am really glad that the modding team at republic at war are continuing forward even without zerox and for that I salute you all and good luck with the mod i know i speak for the majority when i say we are all very excited to see what you will do.

What happened to Zerox?
What would be really cool to see is environment restrictions on the types on units you can deploy. For example you could send normal clone unites to Mustafar but their health would be sapped overtime, but if you sent some kind of tropper equipped with the right armor there is no penalty.

plz can someone here help me. When i play the game i only have phase 1 clone troopers but in the trailes there is phase 2. how do i get the phase 2 clone troopers? (i bosted here becouse of here is the most recent posts)

it seems on my galactic conquest my ai has access to ships that come out in the next update

Will this version fix multiplayer galactic conquest?
PLS can somebody tell me a way to fix the Ai.For some reason they wont muve.When I go into battles they only stay in one place,the same thing is for the galactic map.I installed it corectly but still it doesent work.

Thnaks to making an amazing mod. but.. I think I found a bug recently.. that happens usually right after massive space battle and I can't click on anything for next battle(land and space both.) I've been play this mod more than 40hours and have no choice because don't have any save records before that one. X( am I only one who got in this problem? or does anybody know how to fix it? plz help..
Yeah it's happened to me a few times before too, though I've had this problem in other mods as well. It happens when your Galactic Conquest game has lots of units and occurs late in the game. I don't think it can be fixed as it's something to do with the game engine, and since the original game was released in 2006, the engine is really old so mods like this are pushing the game to it's limits, hence the lag in massive battles. If you don't have any previous saves then you have to do another GC game. If you do however then try deleting some of your units to reduce the chance of it happening.

release date?
i know you guys probably wont do this but it would be awesome to get everyone from the Republic Commando novels to join the republic so we can deploy the entire clan to attack the separtists

Maybe do the same thing with the CIS only basing off of Jango Fett. A group of bounty hunters that can run special missions like in FoC or raids like the rebellion in EaW. Both of these would be a nice addition to the game
