A look back at what progress has been made on The Celestial Contingency over the past month.

It's amazing how much we have completed over the month of March, and we have had the chance to meet plenty of new people, and hear plenty of feedback - so once again, we cannot thank you enough. Over the past month, some of the additions include;

  • Parallax scrolling starfield in the background
  • Ship information panel, with stats on ship functions and power levels
  • UI retexturing, along with new animations
  • Optimizations, and bugfixes
  • Engineering console & console system in general
  • Draggable UI panels
  • Sensor panel (minimap)
  • Start of faction system & faction UI
  • New collision system implementation
  • Power distribution system, able to allocate varying amounts of power to various systems (engines, shields, weapons, etc)
  • Various small gameplay tweaks and polishes
