Apologies for the lack of recent updates. Work has been going on at a slow, but steady pace. I started a devblog a few weeks back, just because it's a little easier to update tumblr than this place, haha. I suggest following or bookmarking it to get updating quicker and more often.
Anyway, here's a screenshot of the first level. Geometry is done, and all that needs to be done is a detail pass, but I've moved on to the second level for now, just to keep things moving. Detail is going to come after most likely.
I also coded in a vignette which, although a subtle effect, adds a really interesting film look to the game I think. Here's a shot of that.
These screens don't show it, but the map is actually a lot bigger than it seems from them. I'm going to try tomorrow to get some more shots of the caves and inlet also in the level. We've also made some story changes that I think make the game much more distinct than most of the FPS's out now, I'll be doing another news post about that also. Our modeler is concepting some weapons right now and we should have some of those WIPs up soon.

Ah, that's a bunker on the cliffside you go in. The level actually starts to the left of it. I'll post some more news soon with screens from the rest of the level.
The displacements on that beach-side cliff are really good. I also like the texture.
