An update for the L4D2 custom campaign "Life's a Beach". Information on level progress, custom content we are creating and vacancies on the team.

After a period of time where most of the team has been busy with non-mod related work we are back and more motivated than ever!

We have been focusing work on L1, finalising it's layout and flow, getting a first draft of lighting in and working on a custom script for our club onslaught event. L2 is close to moving into an Alpha state and we are designing L3 with an intent to start making it next month.

Much of our focus has been sorting other areas of the campaign out such as custom music. Along with the multiple custom songs throughout each level we are going to replace the special infected music with our own too. I will be uploading WIP tracks over the next few weeks to give you a feel of what we are aiming for.

A big goal of this project is making custom characters, this would entail new models and dialogue. We now have the team members to do this and we are putting a lot of focus on moving the characters from the concept to building stage. As this is largely uncharted territory this may take time but hopefully we will be able to show you character progress in the near future.

We still have team vacancies including spaces for Level Designers. The amount of time the current designers can put into the project has lowered, so if you're interested in working on the project and have prior experience in Hammer don't hesitate to contact. I've uploaded progress images of L1 and 2 and I plan to post new updates and content every 2 -3 weeks so check back soon!
