I hope so, maybe this new chapter will be based on the actual current events that are happening in Ukraine right now. I can see the three factions already:
USA = USA
PLA (People's Liberation Army) = Russia
GLA = Seperatists/Terrorist groups
The CWC (Cold War Crisis) could be started anew with this event, with current weapons of war shown in the news along with futuristic & hypothetical things included.
All-in-all glad to see this mod team back in action, can't wait to tell those future stories with the next mod! :)
I feel campaign with russian tanks rolling in front of Pentagon! Please say yes! :D

Liked making SAM networks with Soviets and liked the BM-21 :P liked being able to a mass Soviet Tanks :P liked to turtle too !

Maybe extending the mod to include certain WP like Poland and Czechoslovakia and NATO countries like France UK Canada ? including Naval Warfare ?The question is tho will CWC remain a mod for ZH ? or move to another game ? or possibly the CWC team started making their own game ?
Actually, I think you guys should think about making a game on your own with all the experience you've gained making this. I can't believe it's been 10 years already.
Really guys, there are a lot of engines, Unity, UE and even Cryengine.

I remember the CWC forums (sad it is gone).
People talked about this European Alliance for years and the team tried to tell them there was no European Alliance during the Cold War but they kept on going...Quite hillarious!
The CWC mod stands out from any other mod for generalsZH: it was well planned, stylish and topnotch gameplay. And it has that finished touch you dont see on ANY other mod. This was not amateur work it was a landmark in mod history.
Widowmaker, you guys might have reached a new landmark by making this MapGenerator all in good fun (and solid German ingenouity) but don't forget you are taking a huge dump on all the mapmaker. Custom maps are important for any mod and a good and well-thought out map takes hours, days, weeks to make.
The choice of words "new chapter" maybe was wrong :P You really got people started but I know what you meant.
I remember staying up late nights to play with the usual suspects over Hamachi, shoutout to Dervinho, HaryPL, Robok, RPG777, all the names I've forgotten, Wasted, to the russians with all their unspeakable names.
I remember blowing up convoys with spec ops, I remember blowing up whole bases with spec ops, I remember the no honor game with haryPL and the underground tank glitch.
I remember, oh I remember.
This mod made me love RTS like no other game or mods since.
Artillery shots over the whole map are the best thing, and **** limiting defense buildings to 10! Let me spam my mortar lines!
SA9 with stealth were SO busted! Glad that got patched out eventually.
Loved fighting over the island in the middle of the sea on that one map.
The single-player missions alone are worth it, feeling like 007 blowing up the Russian missiles, and all the infantry missions! The tank mission was also ultra cool!
This mod is just the best total conversion for C&C:G:ZH,
n00bha out.

- BRDM-2 garrison clearing OP
- USSR Paradrop >> USA Paradrop
- that #$%#$ of uncounterable Smerch guaranteeing kill of USA airfield!
Yeah, and that contest for C&C4; on forums with stamps /LOL!
Good times, glory times.. wish I could go back to it again :)
Time spend on this mod, both by team and players, was not wasted nor forgotten :)))
