Interesting decision. I'm not so sure I would have taken this path, because making Unreal games is difficult and slow, but the quality exceeds jka by far. Can you guys maybe release your current jka mod?

This is a good decision, you use a better engine and UE 3 has the advantage, that Lucas Arts is going do develop a (starwars?) game with it so you probably don´t have to worry about copyrights as you would still create a mod for a star wars game. My team and I are working on a very similar project for CryEngine 3, maybe we could support each other/work together? Please tell me if you are interested...
I agree with rfiles. You guys should release what you have so that way we all have something to play while we wait for your awesome creation to be released
