Welcome to the lastest update for Eye of the Storm. Today the development team would like to announce that first episode is about 80% complete. The main level design is finished with map scripting and character posing to be worked on. Below you will find new screenshots showcasing the new building textures and Dark Citadel.
We are still looking for Voice Actors and a modeller to join the development team. The modeller will be required to create some simple props and a replacement for the Crowbar (from 2.August to
13.August I probably won't be able to answer). The Writer position has been filled and we would like to welcome them to the team.
It has also been decided that the latest version of the Source Engine will be used, therefore Half Life 2: Episode Two will be required to play Eye of the Storm.

hl ep2 isnt required when will you people learn that ?
all the player needs is the source code for EP2. People can download that under tools section in steam.. With the SDK it's possible to play all mods even without having Ep2. Just for correction ;)
The mod looks really good... Tracking it now. Keep working on it you're doing a fine job.
Not necesarily... maybe they are using 'special' things of Ep Two.
If it has only just been decided, the chances are they're using the Source-wide base app.
The Source 2007 SDK base doesn't have Episode 2 content mounted by default, so modders have to do it themselves. Players that don't have the game will get errors.
This has come a long way from when it was first announced. I am definitely looking forward to playing it!
