First news is that I confirm work on Iron Grip 1.31. Were were originally intending on going straight to 1.4, however, to get a patch out sooner to make online play better, we're putting out a patch for 1.3 as soon as we finish testing it. Details on the patch will be coming soon!
In other news, we have several new maps in the works! Highlighted today is a map by AwesomePossum, architect of Dynadares, Locomotive and Ambush. This map, IG_Silberstad is based in a fortified seaport town overlooking the Teltos Sea. While the walls and old battlements are long since obsolete in the face of modern armaments, they add an archaic beauty to the area, heightened by beautiful sunsets over the sea.
Also for your visual enjoyment, more concept artwork done by the brilliant Keith Thompson! Today, we showcase the Rahmos Steel Legion heavy tank and the Jodorran armored trike! The Steel Legion tank is of an older design, but continues to dominate the battlefield wherever it goes. While slow, it is heavilly armored and even more heavilly armed. It terrifies its foes by rolling unstoppably towards them and engaging in close range gun duels reminiscent of broadside warship combat. The Trike is a relatively fast three-wheeled raider armed with a 110mm recoilless rifle, good for engaging the enemy in his rear areas where it's unlikely to engage enemy tanks and heavy antitank weapons.
Finally, for anyone who hasn't yet caught the news, the Iron Grip Mapping Contest deadline has been extended until March 31. First Prize is a $500 gift certificate to Amazon.com, Second Prize gets an ATI or nVidia video card worth appx. $300, and Third Prize gets three EA games. We have a few maps in the works which I may showcase later as they're finalized, but we still need more entrants! Lets go mappers, show us what you can do!Keep your eyes glued to the news! More is soon to come!
Th Trike looks awesome! Good job guys ;)
great work as usual, the concept art is top notch
looks terrific. I must admit I underestimated what will still be coming from this team. I see how this mod is gonna be real interesting after a few more updates...well not to say I didn't like it up to now, but its good to see some new content coming. Keep it up, it's getting better and better!
Kudos!

Amazing.
I wonder what the game will be like with 3 new veichles, since only one tank have really been used so far.
