Post news Report RSS Into exile I must go. Failed, I have.

Well, I'm not going anywhere for the time being, but so isn't the mod.

As you probably noticed, our Steam release has been taken down (I did it a couple of days ago) as it has been presenting so many issues, from our AI that seems to have gotten worse somehow to ship models issues and launching errors. For these reasons and the lack of work power to take on more demanding tasks with the limited time available, the Steam version of the mod will be down until our next update on May 4th.

facepalm

To make things worse, our progress is slower than ever as we only have two active members working on our mod and they are busy with their own personal projects or other mods. For the time being, our updates will not be postponed, but less content will be added with each release. I, unfortunately, cannot mod as my predecessor could and I do not have the time to learn modding. For those who don't know, I'm not a modder myself. While, ironically, the lead developer, I was previously encharged of making units suggestions and taking care of our Discord servers. I assumed a leadership position for having control of the Discord servers and no one else seems interested.

ironic

My leadership is quite different from his and seems not to be very effective, as our progress only gets slower and slower. Nonetheless, I remain hopeful that will get at least those juicy new ship that the team is working on by the end of the year and oh boy, they're beautiful! Here something to tease you guys:

Mogh Battlecruiser

Mogh Battlecruiser

Our very own Mogh Battlecruiser on its early modelling stages...

As long as one has tried their best each day, one is never truly a failure, Tavyk.

Throughout history, every great undertaking which has been brought to completion had to first undergo a baptism of fire, sweat, and tears.

It is in the effort and the journey that the workmanship our our hands becomes sanctified, for the resulting glory only reflects the inner commitment and heartfelt struggle of its creator.

I have faith in this mod and in your work and that of your team, whether that progress is fast or whether it is slow, what matters the most is that you are each doing your best according to your several abilities and capacities.

Thank you all for what you have done thus far and may good fortune attend each of you in each aspect of your lives.

Hey if you all have to slow down for a bit it's fine. This mod moving slowly is INFINITELY better than it being dead! I'd offer some help bug squashing but my attention is currently on learning Stellaris' modding for a project for some friends

Still supporting the mod, good luck and keep up the good work that you guys can! If the worst comes to the worst, you can always release a most up to date version of the mod and leave it at that.
