We are making a lot of progress every day, atm we are implementing detailed textures to make the planets look even more realistic. InfinityAdmin(Flavien Brebion) posted 4 new screenshots in the development journal on the Infinity forums to show off the first results.

Great stuff, I've never worked out why people don't use detail textures on landscapes more often. Rome Total War would look so much better with them!
