I Am Legend has been a work in progress since November, and I am finally proud to announce that the Open BETA for the mod will be LIVE on the 27th April 2015.
There's going to be plenty to do during the Open BETA and even more opportunities to get a final say in what changes you want to be made once the Mod is officially Released in May. I will be taking all feedback into account and will implement as many of the ideas as possible.
Anyway, here's what to expect when the Open BETA is released.
- Free Roam
- There will be an Incomplete (but still rather LARGE) version of the city to free roam and do whatever you please, collect items, sell them and upgrade your weapons. Hunt some of the animals which will be spread across the area.
- Blazing Building Mission
- This mission will be a timed challenge, where you need to make it to the rooftop of the Burning Building in a specific amount of time, the mission provided will just be a teaser of what to expect with the full Mod. However, it will be one of the only Linear missions in the entire mod, with more missions provided at a later date as DLC.
The Open BETA will be LIVE until the release of the Full version, so there's no hurry to get your hands on the Mod, however, in order for feedback to be used in the final version, I am relying on you all to download the Open BETA on it's release date!
Thank you all for your support, this 1 man mod has been increasingly challenging to push it out on time, and there's no way I can possibly hold it back much longer, so no more delays for the final version.
I look forward to hearing your stories when playing the mod, and the Forums page will be open to share your opinions, suggestions for DLC, feedback, and just overall chat about the Mod or anything else Related to Far Cry.
