I like to announce that the alpha build of EVE: RTS mod for Homeworld 2 is finally finished and currently uploading.

As soon as it's ready you'll find it in the download section.

Alpha Features are:
- Ships and other models from the Eve Online Universe
- Amarr and Sansha playable
- Gamemode EVE Deathmatch (extended Economy, advanced options)
- Shipwreckages with collision box, wich disappear after a while (600s currently)
- A few basic Maps to test out Gameplay

Installation info:
1.Download and extract the file. (Password: EVERTS0.13A )
2.Copy contents of the Data-folder over to Homeworld 2 Datafolder
3.Create a Desktop-shortcut and add this as commandline: "-hardwarecrusor -overridebigfile -ssNoLogo"
4.Try to start the game - wich hopefully works.

Additional Information:
You need to select "EVE Race " and then set the Race for every player in the upper right in the options menu.
You may also select an Income modification or adjust Ships speed.

Shouldn't this be in .BIG file format?

... No ^^ ? It's much easier to edit stuff in this format. For a final version i may think about a big file.

you should also release a .big file version. I don't usually download mods that aren't in a .big file b/c they take to much room (If I really want to try them I just use unfBIG).

I will make a big file for next version... But personally I extract every big file, to take a look at the hods and how things are done and maybe to see if there are ships that are not ingame but already hodded.
