Very big news from the team at hlrally.net. A release date has been set! Get ready because HLRally is being released to the public on:

To celebrate this news, throughout the week there will be piles of new media, a contest, and an irc party.
Now for a few samples of what you'll be getting on the 12th:
We will be hosting a contest for all graphical artists. We need a skin for our mp3 player and it must conform to the winamp2 standards.
We would like it rally oriented, but if you have a skin you've made that's just generic, you can submit that too.
The prize will be your skin used in our mod, and your name in the Game Manual. The skins MUST be submitted no later than April 11th, 2004.

After a long wait finally :D
been a long time coming but it looks awesome! Good effort i reckon to make a FPS shooter into a rally game as good as this.
I played a few early beta's over a year ago and it was great fun then, so i can only imagine that gameplay has improved now. I cannot wait!
