Greetings friends. It has been far to long.

First off, let me formally apologize for not keeping you guys updated. It's been nearly half a year since I did anything significant with this project, and I can only imagine how frustrating that is for all of you. I am truly sorry. Let me update you on the situation. I have not forgotten about the mod, I've just been put in a tough spot as of late. Over the last few months, I've had a fair number of health issues, as well as unfortunate life events. At the beginning of March, I had another surgery, and I'm going in for a 3^rd surgery sometime later this year. Possibly in a month or so. I've lost a lot of motivation and momentum from these procedures. This is not an excuse, simply an explanation for why so little has been done on the mod. I'll be honest, it just hasn't been a priority.

That being said, I have no intentions of scrapping Imperium Condita. I've put too much time and effort into the project, just to throw it all away. However, the scale of the mod is going to be adjusted. Sadly, Imperium Condita will probably not be everything I had planned. It is doubtful the full campaign will ever be finished. The full original score will probably be cut down, as well as some of the custom maps. But again, the mod IS NOT DEAD, just unfinished. I've come to realize that the project was probably always too big for one person, and now I've found myself with simply no time, or energy left to complete it. So coming soon, I will probably simply release what I have. This means cosmetically, the game will look significantly different. But things like music, sounds, levels, etc. will probably stay the same.

Truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you one and all for your unwavering dedication. I am sorry it has to end this way. But life goes on, and you all have waited long enough. It's not what I wanted, but hopefully there will still be some enthusiasm that has you dusting off your copies of Stronghold 2. I don't have a release date yet, but I am setting a goal. Sometime around early July, I will release what I have finished. On that, you have my word.
