Hello there!
Today is a great day for us, i.e. the team, and for you guys out there for a variety of reasons. But first let me tell you that we're very happy with CWC, its fans and this community and we feel we've created something remarkable here. RTS modding is a niche compared to the FPS segment but we've still managed to put together a full-scale total conversion thanks in good parts to the skill and talent of my fellow team mates and your constant support over all these years.
When we started CWC, we wanted to create a mod that featured three distinct sides. As all of you know, two of them are present in the mod, the third was dropped since we ran out of time. Now, today we'd like to pay homage to this third side with its most potent weapon and a landmark in Cold War military technology, the Leopard 2A4. Most of you got the challenge right and we congratulate the brave few who stubbornly believed in the other odd choices (this includes me). Alright, enough of the words. We give you the last and final model of CWC, the European Alliance main battle tank:
This tank (which is more or less an Abrams variant with no anti-air machine gun but better armour) comes with the new 473 patch we've just uploaded to our servers. It is featured in a modified version of "Distant Thunder" and includes superb voice acting (believe me, it's really good). We might release a special mission featuring the tank in the future.. stay tuned.
As always, grab the patch using the starter or via manual download. Check the change log for details.

Alright.. that's a long post and we hope it'll be one of the last since we consider this mod done now that all factions are (more or much less) featured in CWC!

Errr, there won't be a European Alliance anyways. It's just this single unit. Just read the last paragraph of the news again:
