It has been an amazing week. The preemptive planning and setting up the technical design of the game proved very profitable. Last week's development went smooth and having everything in place meant the codebase stayed nice and tidy.
Here's the current pre-alpha state of the game:
Rock & Roll
Guts & Glory will now offer an amplified, rockin experience thanks to its new soundtrack by Milos Petrenj.
Clear(er) Blue Sky
The first iteration of the Guts & Glory weather module had a bit too much, well, weather. Things were toned-down a notch and the default is now a lovely spring-time day for you to mess-up with fire and explosions.
Keep your Aim
The cannons are now loaded up with the latest and finest tracer ammo. You will never(?!) miss a shot again and it's also too fun to shoot these things!
What's your Stats?
Setting up a persistent player profiles system turned out to be quite a bit of work. The hidden parts of the module is now complete and will allow keeping track of players progress and achievements.
Putting on the Horses
Just one more push until the alpha demo is ready. The coming development days will be no less exciting and even more challenging. The demo levels has to be fully operational and the thing just has to work.More exciting reports will follow, so stay in formation and thanks for the support :)
