A post on League of Legend’s official site explains that “the orchestrated spectacle of the Dead Pool’s destruction led many to believe that the dread reaver Gangplank perished in the flames […] but what is dread may never die, and Gangplank returns to reclaim what he believes to be rightfully his.”
We did have our suspicions and it was a bold move on Riot Games’ part but the post reveals that Gangplank will return, mostly in tact, with a vengeance. [...]
