World War One "themed". The term used when a game wants to pretend it's historically accurate while taking so many liberties that it bares little resemblance to any actual historical theme.
To be completely honest you are 100% correct, I didn't want to create a WW1 simulator, I wanted to make something nostalgic and fun, while having the setting set in that era. To be fair, nothing in the game is far reaching at least.
