Hey guys!
We have finally reached the part of development where no new features are being added. But, what does this mean? It means we are now only bug testing, final balancing, and fixing anything new that comes up as well as fixing existing bugs. It also means that we are almost done, and are almost ready to 'go gold.' But while we are finishing the mod and prior to release we want to use some spare time to ask for support in bringing some extra popularity to our mod.
As we're making great progress and getting closer to release, it's time to make some noise for the mod. Spinning up the forums, getting more likes, and gaining watchers! We want to ask for your help with this. Word of mouth helps a ton. Help us by inviting new people to watch our mod and live its disturbing world when it comes out.
But what is in it for you guys by doing this? Here is the deal: Invite your friends, facebook mates, and anyone you can so we can reach our goal of 2300 Moddb watchers, and we will reward you. If we get 2300 watchers before our intended announcing date of the release date, we will give you guys an early release date announcement. Get over 300 members on our forums? We will release the mod earlier than our posted release date.
We appreciate your help with this one guys, and thank you for your support!
If you want more Grey news join our community at www.grey-mod.com or our Facebook community or just simply Track the mod at Moddb, it'll help us a lot!
Be on the lookout for more pre-release news coming soon!

Awesome!
great news indeed
i might send someone a message after release to give this mod a popularity spike, a rather huge one
Hey guys, be careful with these promises.
Remember when Black Mesa promised a release date and failed to deliver?
Make sure it's good and ready before you announce a date, and PLEASE don't release it sooner than your planned date unless you're 100% done early. Aim for your originally intended date.
I do not doubt the quality of the mod, but I would rather wait a bit longer and get an amazing mod than get a mod sooner but of lower quality.
Just, be careful...
Bah. This isn't like Black Mesa: Source.
Anyways, I hope we reach those big numbers!
We have waited a long time before announcing a release date. I'm pretty confident we won't have to delay it once its final date is announced.
Just because one mod was never released doesn't mean that every other mod ever conceived will never be released.
Awesome. I hope you get the amount of watchers you want, man!
Great!
Thank you Ashkandi. You made my day :)
I'd rather have a polished mod than a rushed one, no matter how much longer it takes.
You can only have the "new" experience only once- the first time you play it; and no matter how much you patch it afterwards the first (the most interesting) playthrough experience will be ruined if the mod is not polished enough.
Don't worry, an early release will not make it have any more or less polish. We have carefully planned our release date and what we were going to do with it in advance :)
Just in time!
My 1440p 27'' LED S-IPS monitor from Korea is due to arrive real soon.
Will be a visual treat on it!
Honestly this seems so soon though, I thought this would have like a year left in development!
Oh well:P
This can be a slight bridge to Underhell.
like Orpheus said above, you only have one first time to play a mod.
Personally i never even play a mod a second time after it is patched up.
ANd like Toxsic said above, be very careful with giving release dates, and even more so with releasing it earlier as planned just because so many people did visit the forum or so. In the end it is all about quality. personaly i have learned my lea son with giving release dates to early, in fact severel times. Because in the end of the developing process you always will find bugs, problems or whatever that will give you much extra work that you never thought of.
best is to just work on, as hard and devoted as you can. And when it is done you can give a release date that is a week from now or so. or just release it and then start to advertise for it.
whatever you do, i do wish you and your project much success and as many players as possible,

I'm the same way. If it is a singleplayer mod I will likely never download a patch for it and play it a second time. Don't worry though, we have done our best to make it as polished as we can the first time around.
Suh-weet. Been following this for ages, and I can't wait to see it finished.
Excellent, as will be ready to release. Must Advertise on Russian communities.
Yes, and I myself am looking forward to the game. Opportunity to play and get some of your experiences in the development of horrors.
That are really great NEWS! More than that, i hope this mod will come sooner as soon =) *.*!
Make a Let´s player play this game. Like Pewdiepie, that guy with a million subscribers on Youtube. Contact him, tell him that you are a developer of a new horror mod, and show him a new unreleased trailer of Grey. Ask him if he would like to be the first person to play the mod, and let him record himself trying a half-hour demo with the least spoilery bits.
WOW this game seems pretty Greyt
