Gray Destiny - Dev Blog #3
We are proud to announce that our game, Gray Destiny, has just been posted on Steam's Greenlight platform. If you are interested in helping our game reach Steam, you can vote for it on the official Greenlight platform. Every vote is highly appreciated.
You can also follow our Greenlight campaign, in order to stay up to date with our future announcements and updates on the Steam platform. Also, this ensures that you will get notified when the game is released on Steam.
We have been working hard on making the visual part of the game look awesome for our players. We have integrated volumetric lighting, fog, better textures, camera effects and more. You can see a preview of the new graphics below:
We have also been focusing on developing interesting puzzles and minigames for the players. This way, we make sure that the game does not become repetitive and boring and it also gives it a lot of interactivity.
An example of minigame we have recently been working on is a SteamPunk galaxy (can be observed in the first screenshot above), in which the player has to align the planets in a certain way. This alignment is a clue that will be found prior to reaching the minigame.
Another thing we have been focusing hard on is the game optimization. We want to offer the best visual quality for lower end PC's. This is a very difficult thing to achieve, but so far we have managed to optimize the game pretty well.
All in all, it has been a very busy period for us. We will get back with more updates as soon as we can!
