Wow, I thought this mod was dead for a long time, it's really fantastic to see it alive again, I can't wait much longer for this new beta! Me and 3 of my friends downloaded this last week, and trust me, this is one of the most amazing mods to play with close friends, WOAH, I spent the entire night laughing my *** off when I was fragging my friends.(And when they fragged me.)
Brilliant! Thank you for keeping this amazing classic alive.(Well it's not the N64 but it's as close as you can get without buying a N64 along with the game.)

The trailer looks amazing, the guns and aiming look like they go hand in hand with the N64 version except shinier :]
Stop complaining about the lack of iron sights... not every game is like COD4, the aiming system works and stays true to GE64. If you did not enjoy that game on your N64 you must be out of your mind, really you must have no taste in good video games.

i Hope you fix the Reg problem from beta 1 and 2 you could unload 5 clips from the ak and they won't die...

The OB engine fixes every reg hit issue. GE: Source plays just as well (and of course better then) TF2 in registering hits.

Ironsights will never be in this game. It does not fit with the theme nor the pace. They have their place in games that require slower more accurate shots and are surrounded by very realistic environments. Sorry to disappoint, but I suggest Insurgency mod if you can't live without ironsights. If you want FUN play this mod ;-)

its gonna be another CS if the jump is available. Its plauged online deathmatches, let people try to fight old school style, take out the ridiculous jump, it just does'nt fit golden eye AT ALL

Also OMG!72: As mentioned above, jumping is configured server side, so it's easy to turn off if players don't want it.

Jump is turned off by defualt. It can only be turned on via server options.

Just to clarify, jump is turned ON by default. We have implemented a very sophisticated anti-bunnyhopping system. Trust me when I say, this is NOT CSS. Don't be a fool to think it is. We have taken every measure to ensure consistency with GE64 and updating where necessary to coincide with the fact that we are dealing with Mouse + Keyboard AND > 4 player multiplayer. This mod is NOT taken lightly.

Jump does fit, especially with the interactive levels. Remember you don't play in a static world anymore.

You know, it might be sacrilegious to say it, but I'd like to see some maps from the N64's The World is Not Enough integrated into this as well. I have as many fond memories of that game as Goldeneye...

No matter what golden eye mod there is, there is always missing three small things that made golden eye a different shooter. One was the animation of the weapons static. While not moving the guns kind of moved around a little bit. This gave realism that you were holding a gun. Second, the guns turned when you turned. Third is when you were running at an angle you were able to run faster like they combined speed of running straight and strafing. Looks good though.

This mod was fun to play but I always felt it needed to be caped with player amount... It was never intended for huge player games and soon just turns into a cluster F of death on spawn.

Looks good so far, hopefully by the full release, you can get rid of the source feel to it, because it still looks like hl2 in my opinion.

You must not play much HL2 then, because it looks nothing like it, in fact the only element from HL2 that is still in the game is a little teeny box on the bottom left that tells you what team you are on.
