As the recently appointed news guy, allow me to bring you up to speed with the happenings at G.H.O.S.T. Ops: The Avalon Project.

The MOD is moving very quickly now; the FGD is nearing completion and most of the game rules are implemented, courtesy of Commando Bob and our relatively new recruit, Cardinal. We are just waiting for the remaining weapons to coded in, and the players to be compiled and readied for ingame use. Hands from Bobo the Seal and Qube are ready for us to start preparing for use ingame.
Our new sound artist, Vunsunta is working hard already and getting our sounds as close to perfect as possible, and as a result the MOD is looking (and sounding) more and more complete every day!

Internal alpha testing is going down a storm, with plenty of bugs stomped out early on, allowing us to bring you an even better release first time - be ready for us, because we're going to be avaliable real soon!

Plus, here are three other little snippets of news I'd like to show you:

1. For your (and G.H.O.S.T.'s) mapping pleasure - courtesy of sas.stu and Andrew3D, I present to you the low-poly mapping objects with renders by Cobra (click the images for bigger pictures):
