The game now has building, resource collection and some opponent behaviour, I'm aiming to create a demo soon, until then, here is a gameplay video showing the current base building options.

The demo will have only one level, but all the current units will be available in some form.

It'll also will have some capturable buildings and a buidling, planning opponent, which will react to attacks based on the attacking type (rock, paper or scissors).

Just a few suggestions;

For rotary aircraft / helicopters, it can be beneficial to use a texture with pre-processed motion blur for the rotors when they're spinning, even if you swap between 3D model geometry of the blades & a flat texture (spinning vs not). The main issue with using geometry for the blades is synchronizing with the frame-rate (which will always be random and different per user). Can look very odd & at specific framerates will even look like the blades aren't spinning :P.

To liven up the deaths of units, maybe try adding some debris / random chunks flying away on death, as well as the exlposion?
