didnt mind that one lil bit, noticed the first mod was shown for ages, killing floor had **** all time, then was pretty even from there on.
i liked how with garry's mod they had the mouths goin 2 the music, nice!
Yeah well, to be honest, next time we do it, it will be way more organised! :D
Yeah the reason why COR was so long, is because we went "OOOOHHH TRANSFORMING THINGOS!!" when we originally cut it up. Also that Killing Floor footage was pretty much all we could get...
We didn't sync the Garry's mod stuff, we found it :D!

I dont know how much control you guys have over whats in the videos, but it would be nice to hear the audio that was in the games instead of the music

The synching from Garry's Mod is due to the HL2 engine, not Garry's Mod itself (give credit where it's due :P)
Aside from the horrible music, I liked the video quite a bit. I absolutely LOVED that Monkey Strike was there! I've been waiting ages to hear some good news out of such a delightful mod.

i totally agree with Snakez.
The least you could do is post a amendment saying that it has nothing whatsoever todo with Garry's Mod, and credit the correct person for the work they put into it.
Nice work there Moddb. Who the hell was in charge of collecting all the footage? The dominoes video has nothing to do with Garry Mod. They need to apologise, or remove it.

They should just remove it. They need to fire whoever was in charge of editing that video, because the music, editing, and length of each mod sucked. I could have pulled something better out of my ***.

Apology to the original creator of the video, we were told it was Garry's mod.
The music is there because it was done for an expo.. We will probaly not re-edit the video due to the immense size but we will give credit where credit is due.
It was NOT designed to impress you guys, but the publishers and other indie game developers at Freeplay.

You promoted a mod and failed to actually provide a single piece of footage of it. You're impressing no-one. I think you're in the wrong here.
Look I apologised and we are taking action right now. We didn't know, we were told it was Garrys Mod footage.
I am just following our site rules when it comes to other peoples posts, no language and no site promotion and there will be no problem.
supernorn2000, no one attacked you and your work so please back off. A lot of time and effort went into this and no one is trying to hurt anyone. I am suspending the videos so we can fix and remember we were promoting this to a lot of people so the mods got free PR and again we apologize for the confussion but please dont be rude or attack the site!

I'm dissapointed that you used someone else's work without looking into it properly, you can see clearly that the sites are placed on the back of the dominoes at one point in that part of the video.
That being said, the rest was pretty good, and what was the name of the song that played from the start during the Cor video?
Well we would of investigated it further but we had little if any net access down there, we also put the entire video together in 2 days. This includes 3 renders (took about 8 hours each time). So we were a bit scarce for time. And once again we apologise, it was a simple mistake and we are taking action to justify it, we are going to edit the footage and will reupload in the next few days. The file is temporarily suspended.
I don't know the name of the song specifically, Bigbird or Fork may be able to help you out with that one.
Just to make sure there isnt any more confusion, I am not the author of that video. It was made by alexroyce, He's using the "Guest" account.
The song is called "Body rock" by moby.
We know now it was Alex Royce's work. There was a post on Page 2 mentioning this.

Nah it matters, the mod database policy regarding copyright and stealing others work is extremely strict. Any modification found posing anothers work as ones own will be banned immediately.
In this case it was an honest mistake, we believed we had permission to use this video clip. It appears we were wrong and we are taking the steps required now to correct this error of judgement.
heh, would've been better off just playing in gmod for like 5 mins and videoing it.

Yeah, You cant blame modDB for this. I was given videos from Garry's mod saying it was Garry's mod so therefore I put them in the video under Garry'd mod.
The video has been taken down and wont be coming back up due to the fact I dont think any single one of us would like to wait 7 hours for it to render again.
