Greetings Troopers!
It is with great pleasure that I can reveal to you all the release date of what we hope will prove to be the second coming of First Strike. With new vehicles, new maps, new game modes, new features, and extensive tweaks across the mod, I think you'll find First Strike 1.5 to be quite the different animal when compared with the current version of the mod. We're sure you'll find that all the changes will do a lot to improve your enjoyment of the mod, and you'll find that there is so much more going on here than just two new maps.
So when can you expect to have all of this in your grubby little mitts? When is the golden date?

Can't wait!!! I reinstalled 2142 just for this!!!
We'll have a few different download options available (details of which we'll provide nearer the time), ModDB obviously being one of them. I'll look into whether one of our partners will be providing a torrent.

This is nice. I want to play this game, but always seem to find empty servers. Hope the new release will bring some players in.
We reckon it will, has been over a year since we have released new content, so we can understand why things have quietened down in the community lately, but with all the goodness that is in this next release I think we'll see quite a few people return, as well as new faces, in fact we're already seeing a lot of new names popping in, obviously arriving in anticipation of the new release.
