This is our first news post on the MODDB frontpage, so we've spent quite some time on actually figuring out what to post.
Well, it's kinda obvious... right? This is the MODDB frontpage, and you expect the mods to post the most interesting news about their modifications,
and that's exactly what we are going to do. First, we'll talk about the team's coding.
Our dearest General Dodo, has so far implemented many new features, weapons, and has got monsters working as they do in HL2 Singleplayer.
Let's hear what Dodo has to say about the mod:
"First off, I would like to begin by saying that DC Cooperative 2 is a co-op mod, which will be including a deathmatch mode as well.
With the mod being co-op, everything needs to be balanced in order to keep gameplay fun and exciting, which makes the creation of a co-operative mod slightly difficult.
The mod works fine as of right now, but still has a few bugs here and there.
I am currently working on fixing those bugs, and getting everything fully operational.
The singleplayer maps do not work as of right now, but once they are fixed, they will be added into the mod.
The majority of monsters are fully operational and work just as they do in singleplayer, so you will have a tough time battling them with your friends beside you.
The player and monster damage is balanced out well, keeping gameplay fair for the players."
Secondly, and last, we will be talking about the team's mapping.
So far, we got 2 or 3 maps ready, and even more maps in progress.
