First of all, what is your gamertag in Heroes & Generals?
Reto.Hr.Wille. I sort of regret the “Hr”. though (“Hr.” is the danish expression for “Mr.”). It just doesn’t sit well with being a tough grunt such as myself.
What is your position at Reto-Moto?
I’m in charge of making all the weapons and vehicles that end up in Heroes & Generals. Manly the graphics aspects but I also work on their setup alongside with our coders.
For how long have you been working here?
About 3 years.

Mainly the Hitman games, and a few unpublished titles as well.

Softimage, MARI, Photoshop and a few In-house tools.

This sounds unbelievably sad, but doing 3D.

I also do a lot of fishing with a quite remarkable low amount of fish to show for it.
What’s the best thing about Heroes & Generals?
Almost from day one the game has been fun to play and that has to count for something, but I would have to go with the strategy part of Heroes & Generals.
What’s the best thing about working at Reto-Moto?
A very transparent management team. Everybody gets a say in all most any decision. It brings out the passion in people – There is a saying; “A camel is a horse designed by a committee.”
Being independent from a big publisher, although daunting at times, gives us a huge degree of freedom to make the game just as we in-visioned it.
What are you working on right now?
I’m working on the US M4A3E8 Sherman tank. And refining other vehicle setups.
What are your favorite games of all time?
My most fond memory of any game is still Day of the Tentacle by Lucas Arts. Other than that I play almost any genre and therefore it’s hard to name favourites.
What are your favorite movies?
That’s simply too hard for me to answer, but I can say that you will not find Fame and Dirty Dancing on my list.
