Earlier when I released expansion 4 it had several bugs. One of the most annoying bugs was the out of memory error that would cause the game to crash. With all the new ships in this expansion I thought that maybe a bad model was causing that error. So I went through and got rid of some ship models that I thought might be causing it and it worked! I also went through and fixed some minor bugs as well. I just got done playing an entire game without it crashing or having error codes pop up. Woot!
So I am happy to announce the release of a bug free expansion 4.
I Still seem to get the no memory error with the new exp pack
Really, Ok I will look into it further. Just to help me narrow it down. About how many turns did it take before you got the error? And what were you doing specifically when you got the error?
all was fine till my second auto save (which means it was about 20 turns into the game) and the only thing I think I was doing which was significant was sending freighters out to nabouring civilisations for trade :S but it is worth mentioning it happened exactly the same time as the game did auto saved so it seemed like a save error than anything else
i should add i just tryed to play it again and its a problem with the autosave i think because it only happens when my game gose to autosave
Strike that it happens when you save normaly aswell
