Post news RSS Early Access and future plans

Heart&Slash; released onto Early Access, so it´s time to talk about the upcoming plans for the game!

Posted by on

Hello there,

we have been a little bit under the radar these past months. That's because we had a game to make, and it needed all our focus.

The good news is that the game is advancing at more or less the expected pace, and we are not in full-production mode. The time has come where we will be updating the game every two weeks, and therefore we needed a way to provide our players with updated builds. So we have released the game on Steam Early Access.

To mark this moment, we have updated the media on the page to show the latests art assets, and have uploaded the Early Access video, in case you want to take a peek on how the game looks and plays now!

The plan for now on is to make a new release every fortnight, updating the game content and implementing fixes for the user feedback we get. We hope to be finished (barring some late bug fixes) by February/March, when Heart&Slash; will be complete. We are excited the game's development is finally at a point when we see a clear release date in the future. It´s been along time coming, but it's not finished yet, so back to work!

PS: Please , note that we have removed the downloads from here since they don´t represent the game in it´s current state any longer. But fear not, because once the second level is finished (late October) we will upload a Demo of the first level so IndieDB users can access it.

Absolutely love the colours and low-poly aesthetics!

Great work! I love the screenshots! Looks very appealing to all ages and a lot of action. Keep up the hard work and keep the updates coming!
