Hey modders!

Quite a bit of noteworthy news today...

First off, DrugWars will definately show up on the STALKER engine, as well as HL2. We are happy to announce this, and it has only been made possible through the communities positive response to what we have shown of the FarCry mod.

The DrugWars FarCry Map/Model contest has been extended until August 31st, so people have a chance to make some complex and well designed levels, weapons, and vehicles. The prize still is exclusive news coverage, as well as a life-long space on the team, as well as info on future EuroTek Studios releases.

We are also excited to share that the first DrugWars public alpha will be ready by late July, and will feature new game modes, new vehicles (including the anticipated Dirt Bike!), new weapons, and maps that represent the locales that will be present in the final version. While we are obviously still hard at work on the maps, it is safe to assume that there will be many jungle maps, several urban maps, at least one snow map, and at least one desert map.

Last but not least, there has been a rumor going around that No One Lives Forever 3 will be at E3 this year (though it still hasn't been confirmed). One screenshot was released of monoliths secret project (which is rumored to be NOLF3), and displays amazing graphics. If NOLF3 is really on the horizon, expect a DrugWars appearance on it. I have always been a fan of the NOLF series, and most of the DW team met through the NOLF community.

Peace out,
