Post news RSS Dilogus - The Winds of War now powered by Unigine™

Following up the return of Dilogus, we've got some great news! Not only we're back, but we've got some nice technology with us as well.

First and foremost, we would like to thank You all for the support that we've received during the past few days. We really didn't expect that our return will be so well received. But it happened, and as part of our gratitude, we have decided to release a bit more concept art along with some great news.

So what's going on?

We are happy to announce, that we are from now running on Unigine™ developed by Unigine corp, ensuring quality and state of the art technology for Dilogus - The Winds of War. Unigine™ is a cross-platform real-time 3D engine. It stands on the cutting edge of the technology and provides the ultimate power for interactive virtual worlds (modern games and virtual reality systems). Find out more about Unigine features.

Why is this such great news?

Unigine™ is one of the most powerful engines out there, and it supports the Linux platform as well. This means our plan to release on Linux will not just be easier, but allows us to create a full blown, next gen quality game for the platform. This does not mean that we only wish to focus on Linux, but having access to this technology will ensure top quality on both platforms.

What's even better news than this? We are going to release a little in-game footage in the very near future.

Yay! In-game footage!
I hope it's at least somewhere near as good-looking as the concept art.

Concept arts look great.
Now, making a game which looks and play as good is an entirely different story.
I hope you guys have what it takes to succeed.
