Hello to all you patient and loyal followers of Jedi Knight Galaxies. It has been far too long since we last released a Developer Diary, which is something you are well aware of I'm sure! But, let me quell any fears you may have, Jedi Knight Galaxies is very much alive, and it's looking fantastic. We did have a big diary planned for #24, and that was the reason for the long wait, however, because we didn't want to keep you waiting any longer for that diary to be ready, we decided to release a different one now to feed that hunger for news many of you have been expressing. So, here we go!

Starting with a vehicle model from IG-64, this is a Zephyr-G Swoop. If you need to get somewhere fast, you can't go wrong with a swoop! Please note that it's not textured in this image. It is merely a model showcase.

Next up is another fantastic vehicle model from IG-64, this is the AT-RT. You may remember these being used by Clone Troopers in Episode 3, they are also seen quite often in the Clone Wars cartoon series. Once again, please note that this is an image of the un-textured model.

Now we have a vehicle from Karpman, named the VI Transport. These in-expensive freighters became quite popular around the galaxy. Capable of high speed within atmosphere, and able to carry up to 50,000 metric tons makes it ideal for cargo and/or personnel transport. I'm sure I don't need to say, but once again, please note that it is un-textured.

Lastly, something from one of our newer team members, DT. This is one (of multiple) Human Male heads selectable when creating your character. DT is responsible for both the model itself, and for its texturing (yes, it's photosourced).. and I'm sure you'll agree that he's done an amazing job.

As always, please keep in mind that these images do not necessarily represent complete, or final versions. I hope you have enjoyed this little update, and keep your eyes glued to the site for all the latest news surrounding Jedi Knight Galaxies.

They are all perfect :D

That IV Transport, its full name is Action IV Transport, and its modified version is used by Talon Karrde, named Wild Karrde :P What is the purpose of this ship btw?

On-planet transportation would be the obvious choice of use. It's still not decided if we'll use one method, or the other, to make that happen, though.

Use large ship like Action IV for on-planet transportation? Something large like YT-1000, why not, but Action IV is more times larger. Its like using a TIE-Fighter to go to shop...
