We want to give Homebrew a fresh look to get it right and make sure that we improve both the experience and performance. In order to fix some of bugs/issues that you guys discovered some stuff needs to be replaced by something more future-proof.

A new home
We mentioned in an earlier post that we've been pushing the limits of our tools, systems and Unity 5 in order to improve both graphics and performance. As of today we'd like to announce that with the bigger update, the current valley will be replaced by a better looking one.

As development continues we'll be adding multiple areas and islands like the one we already showed (see: OMENS NEST). Because the valley is an important part of Homebrew and the islands will be located around it, we think that "THE BRIDGE" is an appropriate name.

New possibilities
Based on our experience from previous level designs we learned a lot about what we should and more importantly shouldn't do. Since we have been pushing the limits of Unity 5 and our systems for quite a while now we also gained a better understanding on how far we can go.

In order to build a level that's not just good but also suits the needs of the players a crucial amount of feedback is required. We missed it in earlier stages of development, but this drastically changed after our launch as you guys have been very supportive and gave us a lot suggestions.

With this and known issues in mind our main level and model designer Marked Dog works at an amazing pace to create this new, more player friendly environment where you can test your creations to the limit.

Make sure to keep an eye out as we'll be posting more on how "The Bridge" will look and what else you can expect once the bigger update rolls out. If you have any suggestions, let us know and we'll see what can be done.
