Defcell will be officially releasing on itch.io on the 17th of November for $0.99. Defcell has been in development for a while now, but I have decided to put it up on indiedb, as it is ready to be released so it can be available to everyone. The game is a 3D platformer in which you fly a Spaceship and you avoid obstacles to try and get the best score you can. The game currently has one sci-fi/techy-ish themed level which is randomly generated at the start of the game. At the start of the game, it may seem easy, but as you stay alive longer your speed will increase and you will be forced to react to certain things faster. This is a very early alpha version, which means that there will be many updates to come, with many more features to enjoy. Powers-ups will be one of the first things to be added to the game :).

Everybody's feedback is highly appreciated and will put into the game as soon as possible to satisfy everyone. I want to try and make this a great game and therefor need suggestions from the community for features I should add or any bugs that you have noticed so I can fix them. I will release a new update every 1-2 weeks depending on the schedule and I will try to involve all of your ideas in the development of the game. I created a trailer to promote the game here and will make more videos showing off features in future updates.

Here is the first trailer for the game:

Some more details about the game:

Level generation:

Level generation

The level consists of these obstacles which are placed on specific linear positions on two height levels. They are generated so that anyone will be able to get the hang of the game easily.

Spaceship:

The spaceship has a very sleek design, so it looks good from the front and from the back.

Score tracker:

Of course your score is also kept track of and saved for when you start up the game again. Later the score will play a big role in the way that you earn points so you can unlock new things.
