So Ive finally decided to kill off the mod, my ideas and dreams of becoming a successful and fun mod were made true and a large community was generated of people who wanted to kill zombies, but know my ideas have perished along with my time and my motivation.

Theres only so much you can do and what i did was fun and very educational, the source engine is a great engine to work with but id rather help others than drag around a mod that has halted in motivation and generally an actual team.

RIP Aftermath

Darn it. Well, if you're really going to help out other devs, it's for the better.
Goodbye, Aftermath. You will be missed.

Fak, I feel like I've killed it now. Although the mod is still playable, it only means there will be no more updates ;)

Please, release the current source code so maybe someone else can revive it, or just borrow some code here and there.

The mod is something i worked on for two years straight i don't want my code to go to people who don't know how to code or are just starting off and see my code as something to start on.

A mod is something you build from the base not something you take from someone else and revive, if someone wants to make a similar mod i want to see what they can do :)

Alright. I see, when I think about it that wouldn't be something I would have done either.
But then maybe you could put out some tutorials for some of the things you did and that might help
Other modders. Doesn't have to be code-wise it could be anything.

If I were to kill my mod I would have put out something that helped me out for the public to follow. Just an idea.

Good luck with 'Resurgence' if that's your ongoing project. Or if you're just a part of it.

Anyway, best of luck to with your future plans

It was really fun to play this mod with friends, I'm glad that you didn't drop the mod in half-way and managed to make some nice progress what makes gameplay nice and fun.
I really understand how does it feel not to have spare time for some things, so I only can wish you luck.
