The higher ups (Lord_Set, Zombies, and Myself) have decided to make this for rebellion only. The amount of work it would take to make it for both would take a lot longer than to be honest than we want to work. Rebellion offers better graphics, as well as a better platform. So the decision is made, To Rebellion we go.

We are looking for additional help on the mod. We are looking for another Concept artist who can help created 2d drawings for myself and lordset to model off of.
We are also looking for an additional coder to help with getting the models in game.

Aww damn, I hate rebellion as it was really a letdown and it sucked so badly. It was more of a patch than an expansion and the corvettes just have fighter mode toggled on and nothing special.
Of course it's the most up to date so it makes sense to use it.
I agree, i thought it was overpriced for what it was. But as a mod platform it is much better
I think that's a good choose because you are not as limited by Rebellion as you are by Entrenchment and plus rebellion does allow for better graphics and it is a lot better platform in my opinion. :)

Rebellion was always the logical step. Much better platform, enhanced graphics, we could just do more with it. And it's easier and faster for us, for those who will complain.
so besides titan function, a lighting engine,corvettes, and 1 new capital ship, what did rebellion do? Did it enable use of dual cores? I could never find a reliable thread answering that, but yea what else did rebellion do? I am curious
No, but it optimized the game massively.
Sounds good guys, to some this might be a letdown but I think that it is a wise move. Hope that everything works out as planed!

Wow, I'm a bit disappointed, I don't own a copy of Rebellion and I really thought this was going to be released for both. I guess I'll just stick around since you're doing a wonderful job.

Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, worth the $40 I and many others paid to get it? Debatable. In my opinion it was, the better graphics and new gameplay that the new capital ships, corvettes, titans, and additional faction based research introduces is awesome. Moving this mod on up to it is in my opinion a great step forward. You guys are amazing and I look forward to the eventual release.
