The newest version of Clan Quest Mod, 4.0, is available for download today, just in time for Halloween! At the last minute, we've decided to integrate the new X20 mod into the installer as well, so it will be easy to include this great new addition to the game when installing Clan Quest Mod.

UPDATE: The 4.0.1 patch is also available for download at moddb.com. This fixes a number of critical bugs present is version 4.0 of the mod.
Here's a quick look at everything else that the mod includes:
- An entirely new story line for Bloodlines featuring a new hub and a whole new cast of fully voiced NPCs. The story focuses around the the city's Sabbat population and gives the player the option to abandon the Camarilla to join up with the Sword of Caine instead!
- 3 possible new endings
- A new humanity system that's more reflective of the pen and paper system, and with greater consequence
- The ability to diablerize other select kindred
- All the great new content from previous version of Clan Quest Mod
- Full integration with Unofficial Patch (v 9.2), installed easily and automatically
- Limited integration with other mods including Arsenal Mod, Camarilla Edition, X20 Mod, and Comp Mod, all available directly through the CQM's installer
We're also launching a new website, hosted by planetvampire to help support the mod. This page will include supplemental information about the mod, including information about how to install the mod, integrated mods, and support for technical difficulties. I'm having some troubles installing the mod: I tried to proceed in the same way I used to do with 3.0 mod, that is installing it directly in Steam, Steamapps, Common, Vampire the masquerade bloodlines, Vampire, but it doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong (it would be very likely since I am a total noob)?
From your description, you went one folder too far. just steam steamapps common vampire the masquerade bloodlines, don't use the vampire folder the installer will not work then.

I tried again following your instructions but with no effect. I have the steam version of the game, is it possible that it is the cause of the problem (that would be strange anyway, since, as I wrote, 3.0 worked perfectly)? Also, my PC initially warned me that the file is dangerous, which I ignored, of course. Maybe the antivirus is still "blocking" some portions of it (or maybe I'm just tripping and exposing my aforementioned noobness)? Also sorry for my bad English, but most of all, thanks for your kindness.
Try disabling your anti-virus while you install, and make sure you install to the correct path. There's a video and instructions here you can follow along with: Clanquestmod.planetvampire.com
I can run the game normally without using CQM, but as soon as I try to open it with CQM it crashes on start-up with an access violation in module ntdll.dll, anyone else with this problem?

What version of Windows it is you're using? Try launching the game as administrator and see if that makes a difference.

Nice, but UP is now version 10.1, can I use it with this mod?
No. You need to use the older 9.2 UP. Sometime in the future the mod will be updated to use the 10.1 version of the UP.
You can use the modloader to have both installed, but you can only run the game with one of them at a time.
Ah ok, just to clarify - if I will install CQM v4.0 then I don't need UP 9.2? What about Camarilla Edition, Companion Mod, Arsenal Mod, and Weapons Sounds Mod, if I want them too I need to download them too and then use patches from the installer?
Sorry for all those questions, I'm back to modding Bloodlines after like 7 years ;) Thx in advance!

Guys is there any option to get into malkavian maze at grouts mansion ? cause i cant get there. i am in the room where enterance to maze should be but i ve got there phone and ammo box nothing more. cant use door to get in. is this room disabled at clan quest or what ?
That new map is part of a newer edition of the UP, so it won't be available until version 4.1 of the mod.

Hey guys, love the mod, it improves on pretty much everything.
I do have one problem though. When I do the Ash quest to save him from the hunters, for some reason I don't get the option to diablerise him. It just lets me get the normal ending. Any solutions? Thanks!
That might happen if you did the quest before joining the Sabbat, i.e. trying to kill Gary.
I installed the mod over the top of the previous version, I played for around 10 minutes and couldn't get my humanity to drop to less than 3. Is this an indicator that the mod did not install right?
Edit: Should have read the included read me first, worked it out.

Ok. Just gonna come out and admit it here:
When I attack Jesse, occaisonally it will instantly send me to the Diablerie scene, no actual fight needed. I confess that I took advantage of this due to my hilariously underleveled Nossie (Max intimidate ftw, didn't think that one through when planning a character built around diablerie, now I'm freaking Legion with 5 different voices in my head and doomed to frenzy every 10 minutes. Rip.
Doesn't help I'm refusing to use guns because I was building him around unlocking Free the Beast Within and using that as my main discipline, which didn't work out either because...)
Plus there's a bug with the hotkeys now! After reaching East LA the only thing available to hotkey is "Elder Bloodpack." Nothing else shows up, which renders my unfortunately very specific character build utterly useless.
P.S: That Wassail cutscene was the most amazing **** I've seen in a damned long time. IT'S AWESOME AND SHOULD BE IN THE UNOFFICIAL PATCH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

for some reason after downloading this mod I can't save heather. I talked to know and everything but when ever I talk to her for a second times the option never comes up.
It's not the mod. You have to talk to Knox about him being a ghoul first. He tells you that ghouls drink vamp blood for fast healing and other things. Only then you get to let Heather drink your blood, because otherwise your character doesn't know that he could save H with his blood.

Hey, good to see people are still willing to work on and improve this game and I thank you for it, however is there any compatibility with this mod and the Subtle Malkavian mod? as that cowboy outfit kind of ruins the game, thanks again.

I don't know if the mod is just bugged but when I try to to do the quest about finding the missing drugs I'm told to go to the Laundromat and intimidate the owner. Problem is I'm playing as a Nosferatu and any time I try to talk to her she screams, if I pick the next dialogue option she attacks. If I kill her the quest does not progress and the store is seemingly empty. Is this supposed to happen? Please tell me I'm not going to have to start the entire game again as a different clan. It's very confusing because both the quest giver and the woman I am to speak to have dialogue that is specifically only used if you are a Nosferatu so it feels like I'm missing something. Edit: Okay I found the phone like 3 minutes after typing this out, rather than delete it I thought I'd leave it up for you to laugh at me. Thoroughly enjoying the mod
Does installing the lite Camarilla mod or one of the others mods overwrite the new Humanity system? I don't lose any Humanity for stealing and other general dickery, but maybe the Werewolf Blood sidequest doesn't count for that.

It would be awesome if the player could perform diablerie on Bertram Tung, especially for Nosferatu. It would be even better if we could raise our Blood Pool (lowering our generation) through diablerie.
Hi, I can´t use all the disciplines of a clan, for example, I can´t use more than trance with the ventrues or any clan that has dominate as a discipline tree. Is this a glitch or part of the mod?
