We made some changes to improve the control high level players have, and make tournament play a little more engaging and involved. The game previously sent over a random assortment of colors to your opponent for every block you broke. We changed that logic.
Now the game sends over exactly what you broke, or at least the ratio you broke. It really makes a difference when your playing on higher difficulty levels, or in tournaments. It also makes the game feel even less "Puzzle Fighter", even though it hasn't been feeling very Puzzle Fighter now for a very, very long time.
What do you think? Good change, bad change? Come out and play a tournament with us at MAGFest and see if it makes a difference to you.
