Hey folks, we are glad to announce that Godsworn will be part of TactiCon 2023 with a playable demo on Steam that you can play alone or with your friends! The event will take place May 11-15. The demo will feature 3 maps: Tannenwald, a 2 player versus map, Kraukle, a 4 player skirmish map and Tervete, a 1-3 player wave defense challenge map.
So, about challenge maps. The Godsworn full game will include a bunch of challenge maps like wave defense, hero only maps and other custom modes. These maps will have challenges that are designed to play in co-op.
Tervete, for example, is a wave defense map where you have to build and defend a hill fort while waves of enemies try to conquer the hill. Resources and pickups will be spread out over the map, rewarding exploration and expansion. Choke points have been setup through the map so that you can funnel your enemies into deadly traps.
