In order to gain access to the alpha files, you will need to join the discord. This is done so that the testing can happen in an environment in which tester and developer can communicate in a fast and efficient matter.
Alpha 0.0.1's full release will happen on ModDB however, when all of the planned content for 0.0.1 is fully implemented.
