Welcome back,
This month has been pretty special at Elseware Entertainment; we're celebrating our second year of development on Project: Warcry! The journey of developing a game or mod is a challenging one with hurdles at every step. Overcoming these obstacles and keeping your eye on the prize is the only way to overcome. And so we'd like to thank everyone that has stood by us and the new faces that are gaining interest in Warcry.
Creating Warcry has been a dream of ours for awhile. The real time strategy community has seen more downs than ups in the last few years; with only a hand full of games that could be deemed a successful progress of the genre and many other great ones that just didn't get the support they needed.
Project: Warcry's main focus is to give the community a challenging multiplayer experience in a rich science fiction universe with a deep and fascinating universe. To help create this universe, we've hired a team of exceptional artist and writers. No one design is accepted without having another option to improve it. We don't want to expedite the creative process so that we can get a game on the shelves; rather we want to craft a memorable experience on all spectrums. Art, audio, game play and story are all carefully considered and all assets created are meticulously screened to fit a strict requirement of excellence. This is the cornerstone of our development and we hope will separate our game from the rest when the time comes to launch.
The arduous trials of development may not be over, but we're seasoned enough to know how to best handle and deal with future impediments. I'd also like to encourage anyone that is excited about warcry to join our forums. The bigger our community the easier it will be for us to pitch our title and get you the game you've been checking out for so long. Stick around watchers; things are about to get very exciting!
Congrats guys, looking forward to crushing the Hyperion Empire with the might of the Protectorate! ;-)
