Yesterday (September 24, 2013) Carpe Diem recieved an offer from Sebastien, head of Orcot Productions, to merge Orcot Productions and Carpe Diem, to form one 11 member company. After careful consultation with the members of both Indie companies, it was decided to proceed with the merger. This has now been completed, with Sebastien becoming head of the merged company, and Kingsley taking the role of deputy.

The desicion has been taken to work simultaneously on Carpe Diem's game in production, Conundrum, and the game idea that Orcot Productions' was working on, with demos of both games, hoping to be released this year.

The merger comes days after Carpe Diem's Character Modler, Orion, and Character Animator, Torrian, had to leave the team due to personal reasons. Carpe Diem is still advertising for more members, to complete the skill sets required to make both games.
