The first release of CarnageMOD for STV:EF has now been released, and is available on the CarnageMOD website.
CarnageMOD is a modification for the game Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. The mod is written by Chris Adams a.k.a [TMF]Death, and is totally geared towards explosions and general mayhem, while still not being frustrating, or useless for a clan match :-)
Here is an outline of the features / changes:
- Only weapon available is Photon Burst
- Players spawn with the Photon Burst and a Detpack
- Unlimited ammunition
- Photon burst secondary fire disabled
- Photon burst projectile speed increased to near disintegration levels
- Photon burst damage and splash settings altered
- Falling damage, self damage and self-detpack damage all disabled by default
- Welcome message support
- Total game pause mechanism
- Announcement of awards e.g Ace
- Full bot support
