Hello guys! I've made a video about current state of the project.
As you can see, I did a lot in E1M1 already. Basic mechanics like keys, enemy damage, player health and basic interface is working. I am also have 5 weapon mostly ready, with flare gun and shotgun having secondary fire modes implemented. Also 3 enemy types are ready, with basic AI. I need to do difficulty scaling for Enemies, so cultist would throw dynamite at you and things like that.
I still need a lot to do before releasing anything to the public. Basic things like options menus, a lot of small effects, secrets and interactable stuff. I hope I can release a demo in the couple of weeks, so stay tuned for updates.
In the deom I am planning to implement first level fully working, but without map and akimbo powerup. Also no saving and loading, that is coming in later versions. You would be able to try first level on any difficulty and find all the secrets.
