As you may, or may not know, Xaeon Mod is a mod for Command & Conquer: Red alert. Again as you may or may not know, Red alert uses a proprietary video format for its FMVs. As Xaeon Mod is a Total Conversion for the game, including a single-player campaign, it would be extremely useful to be able to make these videos.
Unfortunately Westwood, the creator of Red alert, never released a tool to encode them. Since then, EA has assimilated Westwood, and royally screwed up the series.
Recently I have been contacting EA, asking for the ancient tool used to make the videos. I don't know yet, but Xaeon Mod might be the first original Westwood game to have new videos! This would be a major break-through for the entire Command & Conquer series! Here's hoping that EA can get this for us!
Oh yeah, and there are several new renders at the Xaeon Mod forums, and at the profile.
