I finally spent a little time with the mod again.
it was not much because I had alot of other things to do and I shelved the mod all the time.
This news article is probably the most enjoyable one, because in this article I will officially announce the release for the BETA of the mod and all it's features.
First of all: Why am I doing this?
As you can see, the mod runs for over 1 year now and I only work on the mod when I'm in the mood for it. So to lighten you the waiting time for the final release, I will put up a BETA version of the mod in the next few days. The BETA will contain content that can be edited or removed in the final version.
There are still a lot of things to do and I will definitely edit a bunch of them, but for the BETA the game is enjoyable, playable and bugfree.
The BETA doesn't contain all of the features/weapons/units/maps of the final version, but hey, it's a beta
So here's a list of all the finished maps in the BETA version:
- Death Star
- Yavin IV
The republic side is edited on all maps and contains a total of 8 playable units. I haven't edited the CIS side yet, but I will do that for upcoming updates. Not all of the effects/weapons/hud/models/textures are on the right spot yet.
