I have finally decided the get the Beta 9.5 released. I could have spent many more weeks changing, fixing and polishing though I think enough is now complete to warrant the release. Below you can find the changelog including all the juicy fixes.

Changes

Your kingdom culture will now depend on which 'people' you choose when creating a character.
You can now only change to affiliated cultures.
Added Riverlands as a starting 'people' choice.
Adjusted AI mesh for Thorrens Square.
Adjusted AI mesh for Pyke.
The Reach and Riverlands no longer start at war with the Westerlands.
The Riverlands start allied with the North.
Re-done trigger for auto indictment.
Added the ability to change your faction colour.
Added ages to all women.
Buffed Giants.
Added Dragonstone scene made by LordCanute.
Changed some terrain borders and textures.
Removed the faction coloured display messages - I thought these were too distracting and ugly.
Tried to standardize all the display message colours.
Made the events a little better.
Added more npc's.
Your son and daughter now look younger.
Added new quest - Old Valyria.
Added menu's to harbours.
Adjust every single generic face code. All cultures should look different now.
Added new armours with permission from Bilwit.
Added Bolton troops.
Added Karstark troops.
Added Stark troops.
Added Frey troops.
Added Lannister troops.
NOTE: all troops are pretty much the same for now - but with different armour/items/names. Later when time allows i shall change type and stats.
Bolton, Karstark, Stark, Frey and Lannister lord's armies are composed of only there own troops. This includes the fiefs they own inc guard/prison/castle troops. Making them effectively their own faction within a faction.
Modified and balanced the bridge of skulls quest.
Modifications made to the campaign map.
Added a new option to start with static wars.
Added new events.
Added new quest - Bastards and Broken Things.
Added 9 more castles and 8 more villages to Westeros.
Made adjustments to horse/camel stats.


Fixed

Fixed a crash that occurred when selecting one of the female faces.
Fixed any more instances of missing mesh pictures.
Fixed incorrect town/castle mesh pictures.
Fixed an issue where you would only receive 2 wildfire and not 10.
Fixed some issues with some scene props.
Fixed an exploit with the Mystic Merchant.
Fixed issue with character creation overlaying text when clicking on 'random'.
Fixed issue with village elders.
Added back lord companions that was accidently removed.
Fixed wildfire exploit.
Fixed and added back Winterfell brothel.
Fixed prison entry in Castle Black.
Fixed entry points in Kings Landing.
Fix faction strings.
Fix script error when winning a tourney.
Fixed not being able to choose Dothraki, Targaryen or Vale as starting 'people' choice.
Fixed battle order menus - thanks to Moto.
Fixed measter not appearing in your fort.
Fixed moon brothers camp scene.
Fixed Dothraki camp scene Ai mesh.
Fixed septons not appearing in courtrooms.
Been through every town and castle scene and fixed passages/entry points plus ai mesh etc.
Fixed religious troops not changing if the center changes religion.
Fixed flying missile meshes.
Lots more small tweaks/fixes.

Please note this mod requires you to have Warband v1.168+ to work correctly.

The Bolster the Black quest is part of the main questline - this is where it currently finishes, though more quests will be added here soon.

As with most things whilst in beta, the static wars are currently WiP. Please post any feedback for this over at my forums.

I loved your choices for this version. Special troops, the ability to play "normal" and the effects of the culture in the character. I'm downloading it right now and can't wait to play it!!!!

Bridge of Bones is completely bugged.

Talking to any King and there is an option about you meeting their claiment, however the claiment is your character, and you haven't even spoken to their actual claiment at all.

In sea battles while part of King Stannis Baratheon's army (freelance mod) I was immediately murdered by my own side.

The features look great! But.. so many bugs!

Sidenote: I sort of had plans for a new character to claim the Iron Islands and when I met King Balon Greyjoy I could claim to be the claiment which was pretty fun for me :p Still it's a bug.

Currently downloading the mod but a quick question. The Quest "Bolster the Black" which is given the Lord Commander Jeor Mormont and tasks you to talk to Robb Stark in order to get more troops. However there are two things I'd like to point out. In the quest it tells you to go and see "Rob" Stark instead of Robb stark so that's a misspelling and for me it was something I overlooked as I was trying to figure out how to finish the quest. Anyway I've never really been able to finsih this quest since whenever I talk to Robb Stark the quest option never pops up. Am I missing something or is it bugged?

Thanks for pointing out. The quest is part of the main branching story line and as such is unfinished. It may stay that way for a while as I add bits to it here and there.

Hey PROduno, Old town seige is bugged at the entrance to the town, the soldiers cant get up from the drawbridge to enter the castle because it isnt flat. Also, when defending castles like in the castles of the reach, the attacking army doesn't always attack, they just form up at the spawn and stay there

Awesome mod man! iv clocked up 300+ hours on Clash of Kings 2.1 + 2.2 and this mod is WAY better in regards to the armours being more accurate to the show and all the little things make it that much better aswell

I would ask that with the next update that you would consider adding in the old targaryen kings guard armour and maybe varients for the troops, just a suggestion and somthing i would love to see/use in your mod :)

Also is there a list or somthing where i could find all of the quest starter npcs?

Cozurs runs smoother and more balanced factions I feel but this one is definetly catching up in that aspect. Cozur really needs to add better armors the greyjoys and dornish in particular suck.

for some reason my laptop can handle 500+ guys on battle size but in Cozur's i can only around 220 lol

I know that there are probably things that you have planned to add and that you have priorities but there are a few things that I think will make the mod even better than it currently is. Also some of these ideas could be quick to implicate and some could take a lot of time and effort. Btw I have only played up to beta 9 at the moment because 9.5 is currently downloading so my apologies if you have already done some of the suggestions...

I don't know what you would call it but I think there should be a faction lead by Daenerys.

More banners-both unique and based of the books/TV.

You have the Lords that own fiefs in the mod but some of the biggest names in the ASOIAF aren't in, I think it would improve the mod if you added npcs for some of the main named characters such as Jon Snow, Tyrion and Jaime Lannister.

Some women in the ASOIAF universe are more influential than in Mount and Blade, for example Sansa and Arya Stark, Cersei Lannister and Margaery Tyrell. Maybe make them have more functionality than the normal females in game.

This one will almost certainly be the most time consuming however I think it would make this mod really stand out from the rest. When you own a fief you can construct new buildings within but the options are limited. If there was the ability to make the fief bigger by adding more houses and/or farms on the outskirts, the mod could add that bit more customisation...

Taking it a little further I think that being able to turn your camp into a fief would be a really good feature. You could make it hard to do by requiring a lot of resources and a long time to construct, but being able to turn a few tents into a castle in the middle of a town/city would create a real sense of achievement and something to aspire to do, Maybe also have a requirement of being a noble/vassal and a minimum renown level to start.

Final suggestion, Having troops with different stats is good but I think the appearance should be changeable, like how you are able to talk to your companions and give them armor and weapons from your inventory, you should be able to talk to your troops and all troops of that type get the equipment you gave them. Therefore if you have footmen from the north and reach you could make them look like part of the same army.

Also I recently found a bug, if you are a Vassal of a faction and capture Kings Landing the game continues like normal but for some reason if you stay independent and eventually raise a large enough army to take it the option to leave back to the world map disappears from the menu, leaving my character stuck in Kings Landing unable to do anything else.

I'm sorry for having such a long comment and I understand that you might not do any of these suggestions but I think you could make this mod amazing. I am loving this mod so far and I would love to see some/all of this list in the game at some point... Keep up the good work regardless.

When Bannerlord comes out are you going to continue to update this mod or are you going to make a new one for that game/would you be able to transfer the mod over in some way?

what's the purpose of Illyrio's Manse in essos? ive found his estate their and when i entered it, there goes viserys targaryen, he just say something and didnt give any quest..

You must have a bad download. Did you put it under the module folders where native is at? also did you use WinZip for the download to extract files?

Hey I got a quick question then i'll give the feed back. Do the Targaryens or Dothraki invade like in the ACOK mod? If yes, how do I initiate them?

One critique about the static/nonstatic wars. if the wars aren't static the Dragonstone faction gets
wiped out almost immediately by the Vale, Westerlands, and Stormlands. I cant get to my man Stannis quick enough to help out without outright cheating to keep him alive. Please buff Dragonstone somehow they die within a couple weeks at most non static.

also please Make additional Frey Vassals for the riverlands in future. Ser Stevron, and Black Walder, and Ser Edwyn Frey. At least the first two.

But other than that great effing job on the Bolton/Frey/Stark/Karstark troop trees. Between that and actual greyjoy and dorne armor you are one upping ACOK.

Only things Cozur has done I prefer is put more effort into Essos and condensed the overall map size so the north can fight in the war better and quicker traveling. You should consider that map condense in future since you have a lot fewer villages/castles/towns than that mod. Less can be more for sure. His mod is a bit overwhelming at times.

Please get rid of that **** Crabb companion name I cant stand the name lol. I don't want to change in the troop files it every version release. Maybe add fan fiction companions you invent yourself. Most of the ones are from the tv show that technically shouldn't all be in my party at the same time (gendry, brienne, shagga, bronn, Qyburn)

hey congratulations for the excellent work I love this mod, something that would make me love it even more is the Bay of slavers and daenerys (I'd like also to see a list with all planned features ), I can not wait to fight the walkers continue in this way!!! :)

I think there is some kind of bug with the quest with the Bridge Of Sculls. Every time i go there it puts me in a dialogue with myself? And when i press "Farewell!" it shows me the battle menu.

It gives me an warning "Warning:hlsl_data_handles[9] is not valid" and then it keeps loading if i press ok but then gives me an error with "blonde_hair cannot be loaded"... What i need to do?
