Autumn Aurora 2 has been released!
The second version of the Autumn Aurora brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, sound and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. The mod is built on the newest Zone Reclamation Project's core, it contains official AtmosFear for ShoC which has never been released before. AtmosFear has been extensively redesigned to match the autumn style.
It also holds an official new Absolute Nature for ShoC (never released as standalone as well) with new tree models from AN3 CoP and some new ones.
It is the perfect opportunity for every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan to immerse again into Chernobyl universe in completely different style this time.

If it's not too much hassle, you could give the potential players a brief look at the changed game mechanics. I like to know what kind of gameplay the mod will show before downloading, and I'm sure other players like it too.

Too much to write :-)
The major graphics/sound ones:
- New tree models / textures (Absolute Nature)
- New weather system (AtmosFear)
- Lots of new sounds
- Lots of new textures
Gameplay:
- Some new weapons and items (not many, maybe 10)
- Artifacts detectable only by detectors
- Repairs by traders and kits
- Sleeping possible in some places(like in CoP)
- New UI/Hud based on CoP one
- Hands change the texture depending on the suit we're wearing
- Same with the mask hud (dynamic hud)
- Random stashes
- screen effectors on irradiation, low health and stamina
- applying medkits, eating or using repair kits takes time.
Some bugfixes like empty stashes and non-disappearing mission markers.
And many, many other fixes, addons, tweaks etc.

Actually, if you delete localization.ltx you can play in french. Some of the text will be missing though - those we added.
I have been playing a few hours, and it's really amazing. Congratulations for your work. Also the weapons feel great
Is there a way to bring back the ammo display? it'd be good to know what kind of ammo I'm using when cycling through the different kinds

i can't run it, after installing it and trying to run it, it gives me that strange error "the procedure entry point ?_ receive" or something .. *sigh* i really wanted to try this mod :(
The mod is HIGHLY unstable. I get save game corruption every 30 minutes.
That said, the mod is just AMAZING.
I know the creator himself says it is not his, but x-ray engine's fault.
Would it be possible to make the mod work on the open source x-ray binaries then? I mean - that COULD be the fix to all our instabilities in every mod there is; can someone try launching the mod in the open source x-ray, or could the creator of the mod himself kindly port the mod to open source x-ray? This way, we could report eventual engine bugs to alpet @gamer.ru forum.
We could have the perfect STALKER experience if modders started paying attention to it.
Other than that, the mod is FANTASTIC, but barely playable in its current state... Damn shame really, as it is better than the vanilla experience by MILES.
Love this mod <3, There's any way to get snow on this mod? any official '' mini patch '' to change the weather system or some like? Winter Is Coming. :v...
